It wouldn’t be the end of the world If you didn’t wake up from your nap and call Cuz’ I could use an early bedtime But it would be a temporary fix Cuz’ just the site of you makes me widen my pupils I hear that means I like the site of you And I can agree that statement is true So that must mean when you leave My eyes give out I go blind And we can conclude this theory as this poem closes That I don’t want to see me without you

I can’t sleep I know You would like to ask "why?" But, some things are better Left unsaid It’s too late To watch TV And too early To get a bite to eat On nights like these I wonder "Is it worth the restlessness?" Or should I Try harder? It’s too late To call her And too early To confer The sheets stick All over my skin But I still Don’t crawl Out from underneath them The sun creeps The morning slides in I’ll lie here Listen to soft melodies And begin to sink in It’s too late To stay awake any longer It’s too early To even bother
